What Are Your Views On Source?

Post what you think about source here..


i for one think source is a great game with great game dynmaics and graphics

however i can never bring myself to leave 1.6 and play source..

now and atgian i will give source a shot but i never seem to get suck into it

the one fault i would say about source is

the hitbox is slightluy messed up...

a good thing is there are wayy less hackers and cheaters which is awesome!

anyway what u guys think??

well iv only ever played the demo.. in which it was out-standing... but i also find that the game its self is to exprensive.. and not worth the money wen u can play the same people on 1.6.. althought the graphics are alot better i found the gameplay is exactly the same as 1.6

If i ever want a little taste of CS Source.. i always nip on Condition Zero 4 a quick game hehe ^^

The game is very good.
here are some things i like about it:
-better graphics (dont really care about this but it does make movies more fun to watch)
-cant shoot through 2 meters of solid stone.
-faster gameplay
-cant hear foodsteps that loud (thats why the gameplay is faster)

things i dont like:
-I dont have a steady fps in source so thats the main reason i started playing 1.6
- the game is alot more easy to play (larger head with the same reciol etc.)

Fubar i agree totoally with you!

also one think i would add to the dislike is

1. The hitbox is messed up..you could hsoot someone in the head and they wudnt die
then you could shoot them in the thigh and they would lol
i think that needs to be fixed

2. the recoil is major compared to cs 1.6
